| Notes |
- "In 1805, James Fisher together with his two sons, Willaim and David, moved to St. Mary's Dist. Here they bought a very large tract of land extending from Stopper Rock to the Falls on the St. Mary's River and it included what is now the town of Sherbrooke. Later they found a mill site more to their liking 16 miles further upriver, at what is known as Fisher's Mills" MacLean and Fisher Family Ancestors Descendants and Related Families 2001
