- Isabella Clark was the daughter of Robert Clark and Isabel Walker. Born in Scotland she immigrated to Canada with her family where she met David Elder and was married on March 16, 1840 in La Prairie, Quebec. She was 24 yrs. old. To this union were born nine children: Helen, Christina, Isabella, George, Jane, Elizabeth, Robert Clark, David James and Mary E. It was a large and boisterous family. Isabella died in Huntingdon at the age of 72.
