| Notes |
- Agnes developed quite a love affair with a boy up over the hill, right on the border of the State of New York. They both went to school right at the end of the road above the old Gentle place. Eventually, Agnes Craik married Alexander Blackwood, and as there was not much entertainment - no radio or television no electric lights or even an oil lamp - nor many places to go to, they raised a large family of 12 children.
I can remember Agnes telling me of the trip across the ocean, how long it took and that at one time after sailing for two weeks they were back nearer Scotland because of the winds.
